RHEL3 が動いている某サーバ。
ロードアベレージがコンスタントに 4 をキープしていたのは audit が原因であることが判明。
crontab -l ほかもろもろ刺さってしまうので、strace したところ、audit 関連のファイル I/O で
刺さっていた。auditd を停止したら、刺さっていたプロセスが終了。
とりあえず chkconfig audit off でしのぐ。
